The beauty of baking is that you can create wonders in your little space that you can’t even buy in the shops.  And if you are avoiding gluten, then it can seem unfair to pay 250% more for a gluten-free bread stick compared to a normal one.  Well look no further – just 5 ingredients and no yeast or rising time required.

Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 180C fan.

    Mix the lemon juice with the milk. Tip all the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor and mix until it comes together.

  2. Generously dust the worktop and roll out the dough until about the thickness of a £1 coin.
  3. Cut into strips and place in the ovenon a tray lined with a sheet of silicone-lined baking paper. Bake for about 20 minutes, turning to brown evenly.
  4. Store in an airtight container. They can be crisped up in a hot oven for 5 minutes if required.
