And if you are avoiding gluten, then it can seem unfair to pay 250% more for a gluten-free bread stick compared to a normal one. Well look no further – just 5 ingredients and no yeast or rising time required.

Ingredients
- 150 g gluten -free self raising flour
- 100 ml diary-free milk
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dried herbs I used oregano, use your favourite
- 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
- Heat the oven to 180C fan.
Mix the lemon juice with the milk. Tip all the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor and mix until it comes together.
- Generously dust the worktop and roll out the dough until about the thickness of a £1 coin.
- Cut into strips and place in the ovenon a tray lined with a sheet of silicone-lined baking paper. Bake for about 20 minutes, turning to brown evenly.
- Store in an airtight container. They can be crisped up in a hot oven for 5 minutes if required.
