Cacao frappucino

Cacao frappucino
24 May 2017 Katie

Bring a little cafe culture into your home, and take the opportunity to add in some extra antioxidants by using cacao and substitute a small amount of maple syrup instead of spoonfuls of refined white sugar.  Depending on what milk alternative you use, this will generally come in under 100 calories per serving.

Instructions
  1. In a large glass mix together the cacao and maple syrup until fully combined, and add the ice cubes.
  2. If you have a milk frother, use the cold setting to froth your milk, or you could use a blender, or simply serve it straight from the carton if you don't want froth.
  3. Add the milk to the cacao/maple mixture, top with grated chocolate, and then sit back and relax!
